Hi, I'm Jazzmine. I'm a Chicago-based writer and content creator with a love for memorable meals, beautiful places, and the stories that make a destination worth knowing.

I've always loved exploring, whether that means finding a cozy neighborhood café, planning a weekend getaway, trying a new restaurant, or wandering through a city I've never visited before. Somewhere along the way, I realized that my favorite part wasn't simply experiencing these places—it was telling people about them. This site grew from that: a place for thoughtful recommendations, firsthand stories, and the experiences I genuinely believe are worth sharing.

Here, you'll find everything from restaurant reviews and travel guides to hotel stays, lifestyle inspiration, and the occasional baking adventure. If I genuinely love a place or experience, chances are you'll hear about it here.

I'm based just outside of Chicago, so you'll see plenty of local recommendations, but I also love traveling whenever I get the chance. Whether it's a weekend road trip, an international adventure, or discovering somewhere new in my own city, I'm always looking for experiences worth sharing.

Much of what inspires my work comes from the people I experience it with. I’m a mom to my daughter, Nayeli, and I travel often with my partner, Andy. Whether we’re meeting somewhere halfway around the world or discovering a new favorite closer to home, some of my favorite stories begin with shared meals, unexpected experiences, and the moments when travel doesn’t quite go according to plan.

As a multicultural family, food, culture, and travel often give us opportunities to experience places from different perspectives. That's become one of my favorite parts of exploring and of the stories I get to tell afterward.

You'll see pieces of our adventures throughout this site, but at its heart, JazzmineRazaa.com is about sharing the places, meals, and experiences that are genuinely worth remembering—and hopefully inspiring you to make a few memories of your own.

One thing you'll notice is that I care more about how a place feels than whether it's trendy. I'm drawn to destinations with character, restaurants that create memorable experiences, and hidden gems that leave a lasting impression. Those are the places I love recommending.

My hope is that when you leave this website, you have at least one new place to add to your bucket list.
